Fostering and diagnostic reading skills in primary education

Within the framework of the Bund-Länder-Initiative Education through Language and Writing, primary schools have designed, tested and further developed various reading promotion and diagnostic approaches in a structured way, integrated into teaching and everyday life. The BiSS-EvalLesen project of the IFS and IPN has examined the extent to which school participation in the BiSS initiative represents a particular advantage for the development of reading-related skills and motivation in the fourth grade.
