Cooperation between TU Dortmund University and University of Mosul. The main objective is to support the University of Mosul in times of crisis by supporting young scientific staff members and quality improvement in academic teaching.
RESI is a cooperation program between TU Dortmund University and University of Mosul (UoM). The cooperation is financially supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The main objective is to support the University of Mosul in times of crisis by supporting young scientific staff members, stimulating quality improvement in academic teaching and inter-disciplinary cooperation and developing strategies for the time after crisis. The organization of a joint winter school on around issues of Reconstruction and Reconciliation as emerging challenges to Education and Crisis in Iraq as well as visits of UoM-academic staff to TU Dortmund University for interdisciplinary academic exchange, conjoint preparations of winter school lectures and trainings are core activities between 2017 and 2020.
